Responses to Mpox in Ireland: Findings from a nationwide survey.
On Friday, 10th of November 2023, MPOWER launched the findings from our nationwide survey that asked gay, bisexual and other men who have sex with men (gbMSM) their views of how mpox was managed in Ireland.
In this online event, live-streamed with the support of our friends at Gay Community News (GCN), David Comer (SPHeRE PhD Scholar) and Dr Chris Noone from the University of Galway and Dr John Gilmore from University College Dublin presented the findings of the survey and engaged in discussion, questions, and answers.

The report, available to access at the link below, describes thoughts on prevention, experience, and aftermath of mpox; the impact of mpox on daily lives of gbMSM in Ireland; and community preferences on support and information provision for mpox. The key findings also inform a range of important recommendations for policy.
